1. Actions that took place at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not relevant. - Radnje koje su se dogodila u neodređeno vreme pre sadašnjeg trenutka. Tačno vreme nije bitno precizirati.
He has seen that movie three times already.
I think we've met once before.
There have been many accidents on that road.
2. An action that started in the past and continues until the present. - Radnja koja je počela u prošlosti i nastavlja se do sadašnjeg trenutka.
I have had a cold for two weeks.
They have been in New York for half a year.
Sophia has loved singing since she was a little girl.
3. An event in the past that has a result in the present. - Događaj iz prošlosti koji ima rezultat u sadašnjosti.
I have broken my leg.
He has forgotten all his books at home.
