The Present Continuous Tense

Use

1. Things that are happening in the moment of speaking

Situacije koje se odvijaju u trenutku govora

We're having dinner, now.

Look, Tom is leaving.

At the moment, they're sleeping.

2. Temporary situations

Privremene radnje 

I'm reading a really good book.

Every day he takes bus to work, but today he's walking to work.

3. Things that are in progress but not actually happening at the moment

Radnje koje su u toku, ali ne u trenutku govora

David is learning how to drive.

We're taking an English course.

Signal words

Now - sada, trenutno

I'm working on my computer, now. 

Trenutno  radim na računaru.

At the moment - u ovom trenutku

At the moment, he's opening the door. 

U ovom trenutku on otvara vrata. 

Look! - pogledaj

Look, the children are playing in the garden. 

Pogledaj, deca se igraju u bašti. 

Right now - upravo sada

Jenny is leaving right now. 

Dženi, upravo odlazi.

Still - još uvek
